Angela,

Thanks for stopping by. I got tagged twice. Here's a link:
http://sheliagoss.com/2008/08/15/book-buzz-tag-african-american-literature/

I saw a few books on your list that wasn't on my list. I will have to look them up and see what else to add to my TBR list.

P.S. - I have Up Pops the Devil. After I finish reading it, I'll come back and put my comments on the post on who I would like to see come back in a sequel.

Patricia, Beverly's book won't be out until early next year. I was fortunate enough to get an early copy.

All of you read more than I do. I'm taking my Kindle with me this weekend in hope of getting in a book or two while I travel.

I was tagged awhile back, but I guess I was a party pooper because I didn't participate.

My nighstand looks like a library shelf. I'm currently reading my own manuscript. Gotta push the send button by Saturday. (Do you hear my teeth chattering). Next up is Can I Get a Witness?, Up Pops the Devil, The Secret Life of Bees, The Truth About Love (Tia forgive me). I'm also listening to Divas of Damascus in the car.

The coming soon pile is Zora and Nicky by Claudia Mair Burney, Rhythms of Grace by Marilynn Griffith and Divorcing the Devil by Dwan Abrams.

I'm writing now so it's slow going on the reading. I get through a chapter a day when I'm writing. So I'll be doing this pile until Christmas.

Thanks for being a good sport, Angela! And the truth is these memes, as they're called, can be the exactly like a chain letter. But oft times they're fun and a great way for authors to give readers a peek at the Person Behind the Books.

I've got Rhythms of Grace in my sights and Yolanda's book on my TBR list. Hadn't heard of the Beverly Jenkins' book though. Still planning to read Jewel.

I am reading Rhythms of Grace right now. It's amazing.

No it's not like a chain letter. This how we put more books on our TBR pile.
