Hey Angela. I finally have limited access to the computer again! Yaaaay! Since last June, I have lost 32 pounds! That may not seem like alot to some that are on crash diets and lose that in two months...LOL :). But the difference about mine was that it was done the old fashioned way--through proper diet and exercise, so I've managed to consistently lose weight each month. Even during the winter months when I didn't work out as much I've built so much muscle mass, that I continue burning fat and calories!! So if anyone is intersted in losing weight and being truly healthy, do it the old fashioned way--work out three to five days a week--some cardio and resistance training; and eat right---baked versus fried, I stay away from pork, shellfish, milk and alot of processed foods. I drink only water which cut down my daily caloric intake considerably, and started eating five to six small meals a day to keep my metabolism high. Don't eat within three hours of going to bed--eat lots and lots and lots of fruits, veggies and some lean meat. Stay away from sugars and starches and alot of breads. I wish everyone the best!!!!! :) :) :)

Hi Angela,
Off topic...I work for BellSouth...I mean the new at&t. I was talking to my boss about writing and the romance slam jam that I attended in Miami. He mentioned you. He says he worked with you. His name is Ram Kumar. Anyway, I told him that next time we blogged, I'd tell you. He complimented your writing as well...oh, I'm a technical writer for BellSouth and he is an RM now.

On topic...the way we eat is a lifestyle thing. I worry about people who diet because unless you are going to continue eating the diet food forever, what's going to happen when you eat regular food again. After getting married, I went up three sizes. I was normally a small portion, eat 6 times per day person, but after marrying, I adopted my husbands way of eating-3 huge meals--NOT GOOD. So I refused to stop eating the food I enjoy (unless it was unhealthy...like white sugar); instead, I changed my eating style back to eating 6 small meals per day. It worked.
