Geigh, my sister, I'm going to have to block you from this blog. :) No, really, I thank God for you. It seems we have been through many of the same experiences so I appreciate what you share because I feel that it applies directly to me. I think it's hard to be my friend as well, which is why I have so few, but I never thought that part of the reason might be because I'm judgmental. When I read your words though, I knew I had to consider them seriously. Your post makes me think about something we read in Proverbs 27:17 this week, "As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend." Thank you for being my friend.

Angela, it's very comforting to know that God understands us. I, too, have felt that no one understood me, and I never fit into any ONE crowd. I tried to get along with everyone, regardless of their background.

But there was a point in my life where I became very judgmental and if people didn't do things like I did them, or think like I thought, I saw them to be in error. But God opened my eyes to that and I realized how wrong I was. Now I'm able to accept people for who they are and my relationships are alot stronger. I didn't realize how HARD it was to be my friend. And I thought EVERYONE ELSE was the problem!!! Ha!

P.S. Angela, I wasn't able to find anything that covered the Psalms in 30 days, but I did find a website that does a review after each few verses. You may find it helpful: http://www.uscj.org/soeast/atlanta/perekyomi/psalms.html .

I've been thinking about Psalm 33:15: He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do.

When I first read that scripture, i thought about how hard it is for me to understand the ways of some people. Now as i think about it and focus on myself, I can say that I'm so very glad somebody understands ME. There are times when I honestly feel that no one does and that's a very lonely feeling, even though people may be around. I will take comfort in the knowledge that God understands me because He made my heart.

I just had to share now. Now it's your turn. Really.
