These were challenging chapters to get through, but yes, it DID cause me to be more thankful for the forgiving power of the blood of Jesus. If we had to go to the tabernacle and make a sacrifice everytime we sinned TODAY, none of us could maintain full-time jobs!!! But it also lets me know how seriously God looked at sin, and even though we can ask for forgiveness now for our sins, I believe God still holds sins in His eyes just as serious. I think reading about the sacrifces and making atonement for our sins has made me more cognizant of my daily behavior as a Christian. I began to question whether or not I've even taken my relationship with God too lightly. This Bible reading is definitely helping me in my walk with God.
